Jackie Johnson’s expertise is in coaching people toward more effective leadership, enhanced relationships, and greater ease and resilience in work and life. She coaches teams to improve effectiveness and build collaboration. Leveraging over twenty-five years as a Leadership Coach and Human Resource Consultant, Jackie helps leaders positively transform their organizations and their lives by cultivating mindful awareness and action.

Jackie creates a space for her clients to expand creativity and resourcefulness, enabling them to move through roadblocks to enhanced success and well-being. She has a proven track record of motivating clients to deepen awareness of themselves and their effect on others, resulting in improving both professional and personal relationships. She brings a compassionate, no-nonsense approach to her coaching, enabling clients to access their strengths and learn how to capitalize on them.

Jackie’s background includes seven years as a Consultant with DBM specializing in transition coaching with employees at all levels, from Chief Financial Officers to middle management and individual contributors. Prior to DBM, she spent five years with The Travelers as a Human Resource Partner, and Consultant in Compensation and Talent Acquisition. Jackie has worked with a broad spectrum of clients including leading financial service companies, large and small manufacturers of consumer goods, chemicals and high tech devices, and professional service firms and non-profits.

Jackie holds the designation of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) from the International Coach Federation (ICF) and Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) from the Coaches Training Institute. She has completed advanced training in Conversational Intelligence (C-IQ), Organizational and Relationship Systems and Narrative Coaching.

A longtime practitioner of mindfulness meditation, Jackie completed teacher training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at the University of Massachusetts Center for Mindfulness. She is recognized as a Certified Mindfulness Teacher (CMT-P) by the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA).

Jackie is an active member of the International Coach Federation, Institute of Coaching Professional Association, the Connecticut Collaborative of Professional Coaches and the Human Resource Leadership Forum of Southern New England. She earned her B.A. in Behavioral Science from Northern Vermont University and completed graduate coursework at the University of Connecticut. Her office is in West Hartford, Connecticut.
